Hi! My name is Joshua Dykes and I am the author of this blog. I am a Christian and a member of the Lord’s Church and have been since 2012. I am a student at Freed-Hardeman University and am currently double majoring in Bible with an emphasis in Missions and Criminal Justice.

From my baptism in 2012 to the end of my Junior year of High School, I identified myself as an agnostic, and I was secret about it. But I began the search for truth and I discovered that it could be known. I also discovered that the truth could be found in the Gospel.

This blog features short devotionals meant to teach others about the Gospel. I hope you take time to read the content in this blog. Some of the posts are not written by me and I try to give credit where credit is due. However, I have penned most of these articles myself after careful and thorough examination of God’s holy Word.

If you are reading this blog and you are questioning the authenticity of the Bible, please do not give up your search. Grab a copy of the Bible and please send me your questions in the contact form (located on the “contact” page). I may not have all the answers, but as someone who has been in your shoes, I will give you honesty and my time. Also, if you are struggling and are in need of prayers, please don’t hesitate to fill out the contact form – you do have a voice and I want to listen.
